Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all repair services provided by Doorstep Phone Repairs in Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

1. Bookings and quotes

Submitting a form on this website sends us a repair request. Your appointment is not confirmed until we reply with the final price and an available time. Prices shown on the website are estimates from and may change once we have inspected the device.

2. Payment

Payment is due in full on completion of the repair. We accept cash and bank transfer at the point of repair. We do not store card details.

3. Warranty

• Screens and batteries carry a 30-day warranty against faulty parts.
• Water-damaged phones and water-damage repairs carry no warranty.
• Warranty does not cover new physical damage, liquid damage, or software issues unrelated to the original repair.
• Any tamper stickers being removed or the device being opened by a third party voids the warranty.

4. Data on your device

We recommend backing up your device before any repair. We are not responsible for loss of data during a repair, though we take reasonable care at all times.

5. Liability

Where a repair reveals a pre-existing fault (for example a damaged mainboard), we will inform you before proceeding. Our liability is limited to the cost of the repair carried out.

6. Cancellations and call-out fee

You may cancel a booking at any time before we arrive at no charge. If we have already travelled to your location and, after diagnosing the device, the repair is found to be more extensive than expected and you decide not to go ahead, a call-out fee will apply. The amount depends on the distance travelled to reach you.

7. On-site and lab repairs

Most repairs are completed at your location while you wait. However, if a repair cannot be carried out on-site — for example where specialist equipment or a controlled environment is needed — we will take the device to our lab, complete the work, and drop it back to you at an agreed time.
